The
Intergenerational Village
In partnership with People’s Association, this architecture aims to empower the elderly and remind them they are not forgotten even though they have retired. They may not be contributing economically but they are, socially.
This architecture aims to be a second home where retired elderly can mingle with different age groups and have a sense of belonging and a sense of responsibility to upkeep the architecture. This architecture is also fully run and taken care of by the elderly.

This architecture is structured by circulation with the aim to guide the users into the space by each courtyard that they encounter from the drop off point. The first courtyard would be the arrival courtyard which is promptly followed by a main courtyard. The front of the architecture has a community garden that leads users from the main road to the main courtyard and is used to ease up the gradient of the slope present.
